The International Football Federation (French: Fédération Internationale de Football Association, English: International Federation of Association Football, abbreviation: FIFA), referred to as “FIFA”, is a global football management organization headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. The seven countries of Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland were created in 1904. FIFA controls all major global football competitions, the most important of which is the World Cup with more than 200 members. These members belong to six regional football federations, each of which has its own competition.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC), referred to as “AFC”, was established on May 8, 1954. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Asian Sports Organization. The main bodies are: Congress, Executive Committee. The main purpose is: to promote the development of Asian football; to enhance the friendship between the Asian football circles; to organize football matches in Asia according to the regulations and rules of the International Football Federation. The main competitions held are the “Asian Cup” football match, the Asian Youth Football Championship, the Asian Games football match and the qualifiers for the World Cup, the Olympic Games and the World Youth Football Championship in Asia. The establishment of the organization has promoted the development of football in Asia.
The Chinese Football Association (abbreviation: CFA), referred to as “Chinese Football Association”, was established in Beijing on January 3, 1955, and the first chairman was Huang Zhong. It is a national, non-profit, sports association legal person voluntarily formed by organizations engaged in football in the People’s Republic of China; it is a social organization with a public welfare nature that unites football organizations and individuals across the country to jointly develop football. Manages national football affairs; is a member of the All-China Sports Federation and the Chinese Olympic Committee; is the only member of the International Football Federation and the Asian Football Confederation representing China.
