Application of basketball hoop
The top edge of each rim should be placed horizontally, 3050mm (+-6mm) above the ground, and equidistant from the two vertical sides of the backboard. From the point on the inner circumference of the ring near the backboard to the backboard surface is 150mm (+_2mm).
Standard rim size:
①Solid iron bars, with an inner diameter of 0.45m (45cm), painted orange;
②The diameter of the ring is as small as 0.017 meters (17 mm) and as large as 0.020 meters (20 mm). The lower edge of the ring is provided with a small ring or something similar to hang the net.
The height of the basketball ring to the ground: The basketball court stipulated in the main official competition of the Basketball Federation is 28 meters long and 15 meters wide, and the area is 420 square meters.
The dimensions of the backboard are: horizontal width 1.80 meters, vertical height 1.05 meters, and the lower edge is 2.90 meters away from the ground.
The thickness of the backboard is 0.03 meters (3 cm).
The distance from the center of the basket to the sideline: 28 meters long and 15 meters wide. The radius of the middle ring is 1.8 meters, and the sideline is 0.05 meters wide. The three-point line is centered on the vertical ground of the basket (1.2 meters away from the sidelines), and the radius is 6.25 meters. The distance from the free throw line to the center of the ring is 4.6 meters (5.8 meters from the long sideline).
